Boeing Statement on SPEEA Contract Extension Vote

 Boeing Chief Engineer and Senior Vice President of Engineering, Test & Know-how Greg Hyslop issued the subsequent statement right after a four-12 months contract extension was ratified by the Culture of Professional Engineering Staff in Aerospace (SPEEA) professional device but turned down by the technological device:

We are pleased that the SPEEA professional device staff have ratified the settlement. The settlement is fantastic for our engineers, our firm and our consumers. It was our hope that the four-12 months contract extension would benefit equally the professional and the technological teams. Our professional device staff will be lined by the ratified contract that expires in 2026 and the technological device will remain lined by the existing contract as a result of 2022. We will continue to do the job toward the company’s top priorities, and our ongoing commitment to engineering excellence stays unchanged.
