D’EDGE names Accor marketing veteran as new MD APAC

D-EDGE Hospitality Alternatives has named Accor marketing veteran Emilie Couton as APAC controlling director, changing Christine Tan, who led the business for seven years.

Couton was previously with Accor, covering sales, electronic marketing, visitor working experience and loyalty roles, in excess of 20 yrs, the last 18 of which ended up used in Asia. She remaining the group following its restructure in the area which observed the closure of its Asia Pacific place of work.

She joined D’EDGE, which is a fully-owned subsidiary of Accor, previously this year. In March, D’EDGE was decided on by Accor to be the Central Reservation Program (CRS) for its 5,300 hotels throughout the world.

With Couton’s “deep being familiar with of hoteliers’ wants and challenges”, D’EDGE states she will “guide them as a result of new distribution landscape and practices to support their business growth”.
