Annoyed passengers have explained chaotic scenes as they had to queue for hours.

Hundreds of travellers ended up left ready outdoors last week owing to long queues for stability.

The airport stated staff shortages had still left them battling as the demand for international journey boosts.

Some passengers ended up caught on a aircraft for nearly an hour following it landed on Sunday.

Other travellers waited two hours to assert their baggage.

A spokesperson for Manchester Airport claimed: “We want to apologise to all buyers who have been impacted by queues just lately.
