Vet council to keep homeless sleep out
The Aiken County Veterans Council is internet hosting a rest out to aid homeless veterans Saturday night time.
The event, which will be held from 6 p.m. to 6 a.m., is no cost and open to the general public and distributors. The rest out will consider put at the intersection of 1179 Edgefield Street and Sweetwater Highway in North Augusta.
Attendees are encouraged to carry a tent and remain all evening, spreading awareness for homeless veterans and elevating revenue to aid the bring about.
Ken Brooks, operator of Bunstuffers, a area hotdog stand, claimed the event will be held at his site and he will be donating all profits immediately after 6 p.m. to the lead to.
